Fasching Celebration Monday, 2/27/06 7:30 pm- We will celebrate the beginning of Lent with the German tradition of Fasching. The celebration will be held at the Modern Maturity Center beginning at 7:30. Members will come dressed in humorous costumes and enjoy an evening of good food, friends, and many laughs. All are asked to bring a covered dish. The club will provide the fleischkass and drinks.

Memorial Day Picnic Sunday, 5/28/06 12:00 pm - Every year, the club gets together to have our annual picnic at Killens Pond State Park in Felton, Delaware. This is another covered dish affair, however we all look forward to the outstanding grilled brats and wursts. There are several attractions at the park that you can enjoy, which includes a water slide, nature walk, paddle boats, canoes, and play ground.

Oktoberfest Saturday 10/21/06 6:00 pm - Come join in the best Oktoberfest celebration in Dover this year. This is an event that everyone looks forward to. Many people work hard behind the scenes to provide Dover with an authentic celebration. Some people come every year to enjoy the home the outstanding Sauerbraten, red cabbage, and spetzel noodels, while others come for the Brats, sauerkraut, and potato salad.

Christmas Dinner Sunday, 12/03/06 4:00 pm - Christmas is a time of getting together with those dear friends and family. Our club has a wonderful Christmas dinner that is hosted by the Modern Maturity Center in Dover, Delaware. All the tables are decorated with live greens and hand crafted center pieces created by several members the day before the dinner. Following the dinner, we all enjoy music and poetry to celebrate the season.

New Year's Eve Ball Sunday, 12/31/06 7:00 pm - Because this is our 30th Anniversary, we will end the year with a special New Year's Eve Ball. Members are invited to bring family and friends and enjoy a meal and dancing.
